Customised Asgard Sheds

A green roof made to fit on top of this customer's asgardstorage bike shed. We've been wanting to make one of these for ages, so this was great to work on! ????

We installed 2 twin bike lockers facing back to back to form a ‘L’ shape which corners our front garden. We use them for 3 bikes, but also firewood, ladders, a buggy, and two wheelie bins. We set them onto a 4” concrete pad, added an aluminium trim to the roof (painted with the Asgard matching touch-up paint) and planted out a sedum roof, and clad the outside faces with larch batten. We are well pleased, solved all sorts of problems living in a mid-terrace house.

Wrong time of year for crocuses but I put in sooner iris bulbs to see how they go. Also added some herbs as they can be easily harvested here.

I was greatly inspired by the customised Asgard shelters on your website and so decided to make my own! I wanted to add some plantlife and greenery to the top of the shed so made a planter to go above it. In time hope to grow more to give it a 'green roof effect'. I added extra support and cladding round the sides to add to the aesthetic, whilst leaving enough space to not block ventilation holes on the shed. I am pretty chuffed with the results! Already loved my Asgard bike shelter as it's a really secure place to store my bikes but this makes it even better.

Very good quality, great contact and support from customer service. I've got great idea to hold the doors when open to avoid smashing by the wind, just drill extra holes on the bottom of doors and screw the kick down on spring, I've also put some rubber stop bumpers to avoid scratches.

Very happy with my bike shed, a great product. Not quite built on the recommended base, but a tight space, a slope and a drain meant I needed to build a sturdy timber frame to level it. A year later and still serving well.

Not as fully fledged as some of the others I have seen, but I have added a few magnetised bits to make storage a bit better in my bike store. Used some high power magnets on the doors externally to stop them blowing closed in the wind.

Best bike shed in town. Need to finish the rest of the infills around it, and anchor bolt this baby back down, but looks ace

These sheds are fantastic, simple to put together, rock solid and secure. Well worth the money. Outstanding customer service.
