Helen Scott, MBE is an English sprint cyclist. As well as competing as part of team GB, Scott is also an able-bodied tandem cyclist, who since 2011 has acted as pilot for Paralympians Aileen McGlynn and Sophie Thornhill.

Asgard’s parent company Flexiform Business Furniture will be exhibiting some of their latest ranges of furniture to the world of interior designers, and architects at this years’ Clerkenwell Design Week. There will be a variety of new products to wow the showroom audience as well as some fun prizes to be won, for entrants of the charity raffle.

Cycling is something that the Asgard team have a passion for and when we come across like-minded people and products we get excited. Recently, we came across a wonderful illustrated cycling journal and decided we had to share it with our own followers, created by two Kickstarter’s Claire and Ania.

Asgard recently helped out the London based, Wheels for Wellbeing charity, by supplying them with a secure storage unit to keep some of their bicycles safe and secure at their headquarters.

Whilst we were visiting the charity we learnt a great deal about some of the barriers that come between disabled people and riding bikes.

On Wednesday the 2^nd of November the Asgard team took a trip from their Bradford, West Yorkshire HQ to Brixton in London, where the Wheels for Wellbeing charity is situated.

Picture this, you come home from work on a winters evening, keen to get your bike on the road. You quickly pull off your tie and fling your shirt and trousers across the room, eager to put on your bib shorts.

Here at Asgard we make cycle sheds and we’re very proud of that. What the general public might not know is that many of us are also keen cyclists.
